I’ve been a journalist since late 2005. I was a reporter, columnist, obituaries writer, and pretty much everything else for The Daily Leader, my hometown newspaper (Brookhaven, MS). Since 2010, I’ve been at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS, where I’m currently in the MBA program and the university’s Marketing Specialist. I coordinate the university’s marketing efforts, something I love doing. I’m proud of my alma mater and how it is growing! I’m also the editor-in-chief emeritus and now advisor of the university’s newspaper, The Cobbler (no, not like the dessert: William Carey was a cobbler, or a person who repairs shoes).
